DESCRIPTION:Join us for a visit to Lennox Street Studios annual open weekend\, followed by drinks at the nearby Carlisle Castle Hotel. \n\n\n\nEvery year\, Lennox Street opens its doors to allow the community in to visit. There will be a lot to see and discuss\, as well as live music we are told! See more about the event on their Facebook page. \n\n\n\nOur social events are a great chance to meet others interested in collaborative housing\, hear some updates about what we’ve been working on\, and in this case\, to see awesome local art! \n\n\n\nWe’ll be at Lennox Street 3-5pm\, then the Carlisle 5pm onwards. DESCRIPTION:Sydney Co-housing invites you to join us on a walking tour of three Inner West housing co-ops. Come along to see co-operative living in action! \n\n\n\nWe will learn about each co-op’s history\, their operations and meet some residents. Referred to as ‘Stuccwits’\, its forty\, ever-changing\, residents continually shape and reshape this highly democratic co-operative.  \n\n\n\nEmoh Ruo \n\n\n\nEmoh Ruo has been a working co-op since 1995\, when it was one of the inaugural projects of the Department of Housing’s Local Government and Community Housing scheme. Residents come from all walks of life\, with many working in the arts. \n\n\n\nNingana \n\n\n\nFounded by squatters who discovered and lived on the premises\, the Ningana Housing Collective is one of the few housing organisations that provide affordable housing specifically for single people on low to moderate incomes.
